Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs) are a tax-efficient way to save more towards your pension benefits. The Scheme's main AVC arrangement is called BRASS.
Your BRASS AVCs are invested in a range of funds with the aim of building up extra benefits over time.
You can manage your own funds or have them managed for you. See what BRASS fund choices may work best for you.
Your BRASS benefits are added to your main Scheme benefits when you retire, or you can transfer them out.
You should speak to your employer about setting up payments. You can complete the form below and the return it to your employer. They will then keep a copy for their records. Please do not send the form to RPMI.
It's a good idea to check your investment funds regularly to make sure they're working for you.
The easiest way to do this is by registering or signing into myRPS online. You can also see how your funds are performing and change your investments whenever you want.
